Marsha van Broek

Marsha is an actor and storyteller based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  When she lived in New York, she studied the Meisner Technique and appeared in some of the first productions at Soho Rep. She took a hiatus from the theatre to work, and to raise her children. Marsha has studied with Patrick Russell, Meryl Shaw, Lauren English and Adam Elder.  She enjoys taking continuing education classes, reading books and plays, and watching performances in all areas of the performing arts.  As a freelance actor, Marsha has performed in plays at theatres around the Bay Area. Favorite activities include playing with her grandchildren, birdwatching, hiking, gardening and working as a standardized patient.
